Bluemosaic is a mobile game that turns journaling into a visually immersive experience to enhance emotional well-being.  Available on iOS and Android, it features serene natural landscapes with designated spots for journal entries.  Each journal entry triggers an animation, adding new natural elements to the environment.  Over time, these animated elements come together to form a thriving ecosystem that reflects the player's journey and creates a powerful sense of progress.

When Bluemosaic approached Mystic Media, they had a strong vision but needed a game development partner to develop an MVP.  We worked with their team to refine their creative direction, leveraging our game design expertise to elevate their concept.  By identifying challenges and opportunities early on, we were able to shape effective solutions before beginning development.

As a design-heavy project, one major challenge was creating immersive 2D worlds on a budget.  After considering various platforms, our game design strategists recommended Unity for its versatile features, which were ideal for Bluemosaic's 2D animations and gameplay.  Our design team used creative techniques like tone, highlights, sprites, and shading to enhance the artwork and create depth.  This allowed us to bring Bluemosaic's vision to life without sacrificing quality or performance.

Our team provided end-to-end services, from concepting to front and back-end development.  We handled UI/UX design, custom illustrations, game mechanics, database architecture, monetization strategy, and analytics.
